Job Opportunity:
An opportunity exists for a signalling engineer to join a major rail infrastructure project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
This site-based role will support the technical delivery of minor signalling upgrades and improvement works across a heavy haul freight network.
Working within an integrated project team, you will provide on-site engineering support, assist the signals project manager, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical specifications.
Responsibilities include supporting the delivery of minor signalling projects on-site, providing engineering oversight during infrastructure upgrades and renewals, and conducting inspections and verification activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, civil engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 35 years' experience in rail signalling project delivery (heavy haul preferred)
- Previous site-based experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of signalling systems
- Strong understanding of Australian rail signalling standards
- Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs, test records, and handover documentation
