Technical Support Specialist Role

This position is designed for a skilled professional to provide assistance and support in resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to assess faults and failures within the system.
  • Monitor the system for alarms, issues, or trends that impact performance or indicate potential faults.
  • Review client-initiated tickets to ensure complete and accurate information.
  • Triaging tickets to determine initial actions required.
  • Coordinate with Level 2 and Level 3 teams for timely response and resolution of issues.
  • Review logs associated with tickets.
  • Monitor response times to ensure KPI adherence.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation, Computers, Software, or Telecommunication Engineering.
  • Good knowledge of railway signalling systems, software, and hardware.
  • Experience with railway operations such as ERTMS/ETCS, CBTC, Interlocking, ATP Systems.
  • Knowledge of Australian Railway Safety standards.
  • Ability to interact with signalling subsystems across project teams.
  • Experience in complex signalling design and multidisciplinary projects.
