About the Role

">
  1. We are seeking applications from experienced individuals who can drive asset performance improvement by implementing reliability and maintenance engineering principles.
  2. The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the maintenance crew on breakdowns and championing root cause analysis (RCA), FMECA, and system analysis.
  3. The position involves developing maintenance strategies for new MPLS and LTE networks to support future advanced rail operations such as the High-Capacity Signalling system.
  4. This senior role also requires a good understanding of the asset management framework and will develop the asset management plan defining the asset life cycle requirements for a safe, reliable and consistent rail operation.

Requirements

">
  1. A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Communication Engineering or equivalent with recognition or membership of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
  2. Proven experience in the maintenance and/or maintenance planning of Voice, Data, Radio, and LTE Mobile Communications Systems including CCTV Systems, Customer Information Systems and good knowledge of Communications Systems and Standards within a rail or similarly complex environment.
  3. Proven experience in applying asset management frameworks and asset management strategy and substantial experience in applying safety management systems and knowledge of current Safety Legislation.
  4. Good conceptual and analytical skills.
