**Job Opportunity: Site Signalling Engineer**

Our client is seeking a skilled Site Signalling Engineer to join their team on a major rail infrastructure project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The successful candidate will provide on-site engineering support, assist the Signals Project Manager, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical specifications.

This is a well-structured, long-term project environment ideal for a project engineer with hands-on experience in rail signalling installation, testing, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of minor signalling improvement projects on-site
  • Provide engineering oversight during infrastructure upgrades and renewals
  • Liaise with contractors and technical stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
  • Conduct inspections and verification activities, including ITPs and inspection records
  • Review and interpret signalling designs for constructability and compliance
  • Maintain quality records and assist with final handover documentation

**Required Qualifications & Skills:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 35 years' experience in rail signalling project delivery (heavy haul preferred)
  • Previous site-based experience in the installation, testing, and commissioning of signalling systems
  • Strong understanding of Australian rail signalling standards
  • Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs, test records, and handover documentation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance on-site
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
