Job Title: Customer Service Ambassador

We are seeking an exceptional Front Of House Staff member to join our team at The Boat Shed Lake Hume, a venue operated by Traverse Alpine Group.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per annum + benefits

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to deliver exceptional service and contribute to the success of our venue. As a Front Of House Staff member, you will be responsible for warmly greeting and welcoming guests, efficiently taking and delivering food and drink orders, ensuring the dining area is clean and inviting, and providing detailed information about menu offerings and special promotions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival
  • Easily take and deliver food and drink orders
  • Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting
  • Assist with food prep and beverage service as required
  • Achieve accurate payments processing and cash transactions handling
  • Provide valuable information on menu offerings and special promotions
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, previous experience in hospitality or customer service (preferable), flexibility to work nights and weekends, and excellent teamwork skills. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment will make you stand out as a top candidate. If you have experience using POS systems and handling cash, it's a definite plus.
