Job Title: Luxury Event Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Event Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing luxury events, including weddings and social gatherings. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences, and bring them to life with attention to detail and creativity.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all event leads and conversion to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
  • Plan and execute events in accordance with Hyatt's brand standards and quality expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and exceed client expectations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve services and offerings
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality or Event Management
  • Previous experience in sales and customer-facing roles, preferably in a five-star hotel or luxury venue
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, with ability to learn new systems and technologies
