About the RoleThis is an opportunity to plan and execute exceptional events for weddings and social gatherings. As an Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing leads, converting sales, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage event leads and conversion processes
- Plan and execute events for weddings and social markets
- Assist with departmental reporting and analytics
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and preferences
- Conduct site inspections and ensure seamless event execution
- Communicate event details internally and externally
- Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality or Event Management
- Previous experience in sales or event coordination, preferably in a five-star hotel or luxury venue
- Understanding of cultural nuances for weddings and social events
- Knowledge of the wedding and leisure market segments
- Creative aptitude to tailor events to individual client needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office and event management software
