About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Accounting team in Melbourne, reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage accounts payable functions for the Australian offices within the firm's invoice processing system.
  • Ensure daily contact with suppliers and firm personnel regarding the status of supplier invoices, setting up new suppliers, processing payments, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Key duties include ensuring all office and matter invoices are approved, coded, and loaded into the General Ledger, setting up and maintaining vendors, preparing and processing electronic transfers and payment runs, and reconciling corporate credit card transactions.
  • Support the Finance Manager day-to-day and in accounting-related projects.
About You
