Accounts Payable Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Support Office team. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing assistance with accounts payable and receivable tasks, data entry, and reporting to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable: Collections, reconciliations, and invoicing
  • Accounts Payable: Data entry and payments
  • Purchase Order Processing:
  • Financial Data Management: Processing and importing sale, debtors, exchange, returns, and payment allocations
  • Team Support: Providing support to accountants, accounts receivable, and accounts payable as required
  • Finance Initiatives: Supporting the execution of finance game plans and proactively working with the support team to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • Strong Attention to Detail: Accurate and timely processing, recording, and classification of financial information
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Verbal and written communication with stakeholders
  • Analytical and Numerical Skills: Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and ability to manage multiple tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Team Player: Collaborative and independent work style
