Grounds Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Grounds Officer to join our team at Treasure Island Resort.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, plus benefits.

As a Grounds Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds, including:

  • Maintenance of lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas
  • Incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities, and other facilities
  • Servicing of water park, repairs, and maintenance as required
  • Assisting with gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs, and painting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in grounds, pool care, and basic maintenance work
  • Previous experience with ride-on and push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping, and weed control would be ideal
  • Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
  • An ability to work unsupervised with a “hands-on” work history
  • A hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic, and physically fit individual
