Bridge Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing bridge projects that meet the program scope, quality, and financial requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Undertake the design of bridge projects to achieve positive design outcomes
  • Work on various scales of bridge and other structural projects across the life cycle - concept, design & construction, management, assessment and end of life
  • Conduct bridge inspection work at various locations around Australia
  • Engage with government clients, contractors, and project stakeholders to drive outstanding service delivery
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of Bridge Engineering experience
  • Analysis experience with SpaceGASS (mandatory) and Midas Civil (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in bridge design to AS5100
  • Experience in Road and/or Rail Bridge assessment and/or design
  • Experience in undertaking Bridge Inspections and a willingness to travel instate for up to 2 weeks if necessary
  • Some experience in, and willingness to be involved in writing, pricing and reviewing bids, proposals and tenders
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
