Human Resources Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing human resource operational strategies, processes, and systems to enable efficient and effective provision of client-focused services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in maintaining service delivery, identifying efficiencies, and ensuring compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies, and standards. They will also provide operational support and advice on a range of human resource matters to enable informed decision making.

In this role, you will research and analyze human resource practices, collaborate with colleagues to enable informed decision making for the resolution of operational issues and adoption of best practice. You will also lead and manage HR records, including staffing requirements and procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of HR contract management for both support staff and teaching staff.
  • Coordination and administration of effective and efficient human resource processes and functions.
  • Recruitment and induction training of teaching staff.
  • Assistance with employment conditions, pay and leave, contracts and claims.
  • Lead and manage the HR records of the school, including SBS staffing.
  • Procurement for secondary school.

Role Profile:

  • Pre-service teacher administration, ensuring all audit requirements are met.
  • Review of local human resource systems and provision of recommendations for enhancement.
  • Liaison with Principals, BM and DOC regarding teaching staffing.
  • Negotiation of placements of required staff and monitoring availability of resources to ensure compliance within regulatory frameworks.
