OFX is a leading financial operations company providing businesses with real-time control and visibility to operate globally.

The company offers global business accounts, payments to 180 countries in 30+ currencies, and currency risk management solutions for simplified global transactions. Additionally, OFX provides corporate cards with spend management, bill payments, vendor management, and integrations with popular accounting software to streamline business operations.

We are seeking a team player with an ownership mindset to lead our strategy and corporate development activities.

The role focuses on strategy development, solving critical strategic questions, and executing global M&A activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning process in partnership with the Executive Team and Board
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and performance to inform strategic priorities
  • Solve critical strategic questions towards OFX 2.0
  • Design, execute, and lead detailed problem definition, work plans, analysis, strategic option evaluation, and strategy development to support critical decision-making and case for change, where required
  • Prepare presentations for the Executive Team and Board in support of critical decision-making projects
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Lead global M&A activities

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in management consulting and/or corporate strategy
  • Undergraduate, graduate, or MBA degree
  • Strategic thinking skills, defined as the ability to structure complex and ambiguous issues, deliver well-supported data-backed recommendations
  • Experience with hypothesis-based problem-solving approach
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, own strategic questions, and engage with teams and executives, with autonomy
  • Excellent communication, judgment, maturity to work across all levels (the team, cross-functional partners, and executives)
  • Team player, pro-active, and action-oriented, who enjoys ownership
  • Desire to continuously learn / develop
  • Desire to work globally
  • Desire to have exposure to M&A
  • At least some experience with financial services
