About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Specialist to join our Cardiac Rhythm Management team in Hobart, Tasmania. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing clinical expertise and support to our customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Account Sales Strategies: Partner with sales colleagues to develop and execute account sales strategies for the business unit.
  • Provide Clinical Support and Education: Provide the best possible outcomes and service for Medtronic customers by supporting field teams with technical in-services and presentations to customers.
  • Conduct On-Site Education and Consulting: Conduct on-site education and/or consulting to ensure customers have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use our products.
  • Assist Territory Managers with After-Hours Support: Assist Territory Managers in providing after-hours on-call support to customers.
  • Support Sales and Marketing Programs: Support sales & marketing programs with specific complimentary activities as provided by the Marketing team.
  • Participate in Conventions and Meetings: Participate in conventions, forums, and meetings to increase product awareness and build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Work with Clinical Lead and Regional Sales Team: Work closely with Clinical Lead, Clinical Management, and Regional Sales team to provide customer case and sales support.
  • Gather Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff.
  • Identify and Execute on Growth Opportunities: Identify and facilitate execution on growth opportunities with Sales and Clinical Support Team.
  • Monitor Field Inventory: Monitor field inventory effectively and ensure appropriate levels relative to demand in locations.
  • Support Clinical Study Activities: Support clinical study activities in conjunction with Territory Manager and the Clinical Research team.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma with minimum of 8 years relevant experience OR Associate Diploma with minimum of 6 years relevant experience OR Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
  • Clinical Experience: Demonstrated experience either in a clinical setting with cardiac pacing devices or cardiac sales.
  • Travel Requirements: Required to travel up to 25%, valid driver's licence required.
