About the Role

The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Continuing Care Stream. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care services, promoting community awareness, and providing specialist clinical psychological assessment and treatment services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Quality Patient Care Services: Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to clients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Promote Community Awareness: Develop and implement strategies to raise awareness about mental health issues, promoting education and support for individuals and communities.
  • Provide Specialist Clinical Services: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for clients, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care.
  • Consult with Other Agencies: Provide expert advice and guidance to other agencies and organizations on mental health issues, supporting the development of effective care pathways.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Hold a tertiary qualification in psychology approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Registration: Be registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
