Rehabilitation Engineering Role

The rehabilitation engineer will play a key role in advancing our careers and everyday life. They will support the planning, design, and compliance of rehabilitation activities in accordance with our safety health management system.

Core responsibilities include facilitating and managing the design, scheduling, and quality control of rehabilitation activities, conducting site inspections, and developing solutions for site challenges.

Stakeholders engagement and ongoing process innovation are also critical components of this role.

A tertiary qualification in Mining or Civil Engineering is essential, as well as exposure to mining software such as Deswik or Vulcan and planning of bulk earth works such as dozer push and truck & shovel.

Experience with mine scheduling packages and project management is highly desirable but not critical.

Professional experience (5-7 years indicative) in a mining or civil engineering would be regarded, as would demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, logical thinking, problem-solving, and working independently while maintaining a team focus.
