About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners and ensuring exceptional cleanliness and customer service across multiple sites.

They will coordinate cleaning activities, mentor their team members, and ensure the highest quality standards are met. They will also represent the organization on new client sites and ensure a positive first impression every time.

As the role is critical in supporting staff, creatively solving operational challenges, managing rosters, and driving change management initiatives, the ideal candidate must balance strong operational oversight with the ability to inspire, innovate, and support teams as they continue to scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and Motivate: Inspire the team to deliver top-tier cleaning services while ensuring efficiency, teamwork, and clear communication.
  • Quality Control: Perform hands-on cleaning tasks and inspect work to ensure quality standards are met. If issues arise, address them swiftly and professionally.
  • Training & Onboarding: Share expertise with new hires, providing them with tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Safety & Compliance: Uphold health and safety protocols, ensuring the team follows safe work practices.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are maintained and report any issues to the Team Manager.
  • Feedback & Improvement: Collaborate with leadership, offering feedback and suggesting process improvements to make the organization better.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a cleaning role, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate a team and create a positive work environment with effective communication.
  • Attention to Detail: Pride in delivering high standards and encouraging the same from the team.
  • Reliability: Valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and ability to pass a drug and alcohol test. A clean police check and willingness to undergo background checks are essential.
  • A Desire to Grow: Open to obtaining relevant qualifications like a White Card and other certifications to advance in your career.
