Job Description

As a strategic leader in procurement, the supplier manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring that suppliers adhere to and excel against industry benchmarks for ethics, sustainability, and compliance. This involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of suppliers, from onboarding and qualification to ongoing performance management and offboarding.

  • End-to-end oversight of supplier onboarding, qualification, and compliance with stringent standards, encompassing Tabcorp's Supplier Code of Conduct, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements, occupational health and safety (OHS), and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Strategic management of supplier records and administration of onboarding/offboarding processes via advanced technology platforms, such as Oracle Fusion.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across supplier processes, system enhancements, and adoption, collaborating closely with Corporate Technology to test and implement quarterly updates.
  • Building and maintaining a robust risk management framework for suppliers, conducting regular assessments, and ensuring readiness for audits.
  • Supporting supplier performance management in partnership with category leads, ensuring alignment with procurement and risk policies.
  • Collaboration across Procurement, Finance, Risk, and other teams to identify and mitigate supplier risks, driving informed decision-making.
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives to enhance supplier relationships, tracking performance, and promoting continuous engagement.
About You
  • A detail-oriented procurement professional with solid experience in supplier management or operations, possessing excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in using advanced ERP/e-procurement platforms, preferably Oracle Fusion.
  • A background in procurement, ideally with experience in supplier or risk management, complemented by strong analytical skills and a risk-aware mindset.
