Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with our organisational goals;
  • Managing and monitoring procurement activity across all business units;
  • Providing technical and strategic support to suppliers to ensure compliance with our procurement and contract governance policies;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to enhance compliance and develop best practice procurement methodologies;
  • Leading comprehensive procurement planning and developing strategic approaches to market;
  • Analyzing market research to determine industry conditions, trends, opportunities, and competition with recommendations for improving processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Extensive experience in contract management and governance, including conducting contract reviews, managing renewals, and monitoring performance to ensure compliance and value delivery;
  • Ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders, implement procurement practices ensuring compliance across a diverse range of stakeholders;
  • Experience in managing Conflict of Interest and Probity processes;
  • Proactive procurement and contract management skills, with a strong track record in leading comprehensive procurement planning and developing strategic approaches to market;
  • Experience in developing KPIs within contracts, with a strong understanding of the importance of regular performance reviews.
