Job Title: Support Worker for Young Individuals
About the RoleThis position involves providing personal care, mealtime assistance, activities, and swimming support to a young female client with ASD and intellectual disability.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in supporting young people with complex needs and be comfortable working in a home environment with pets.
Responsibilities:- Support before and after school hours with personal care, meal preparation, and activities
- Assist with swimming support once a week
- Collaborate with family members to ensure consistent and quality care
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with ASD and intellectual disability
- A certificate in Disability Support or Individual Support (desirable)
- Valid driver's license
- Working with Children Check clearance
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- First Aid and CPR certification
