Young People's Program Manager

The organization is seeking a Team Leader to fill a key position.
This role will oversee the development and operation of out-of-school programs and activities for young people at a Youth Justice Precinct in Parkville.
The successful candidate will possess knowledge, experience and understanding of current issues, trends and techniques relating to the development, implementation and operation of programs and strategies within youth justice and adult custodial settings.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team in developing and operating out-of-school programs and activities for young people.
- Contribute to improving the outcomes of young people's futures.
- Manage Youth Engagement Officers at Parkville Youth Justice Precinct to provide comprehensive programs and activities tailored to cohorts' interests and cultural backgrounds.
- Plan programs in advance to ensure cultural, religious and significant days and events are acknowledged or celebrated.
- Coordinate internal and external program delivery across the precinct.
- Maintain an understanding of issues impacting on youth justice and investigate critical projects that develop and review policies, professional standards and operating practices to enhance service delivery, efficiency and improved client outcomes.
- Knowledge, experience and understanding of current issues, trends and techniques relating to program development, implementation and operation within youth justice and adult custodial settings.
