Support Worker - Young People Team

Job Description:

Our team is seeking a skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to children in care aged 14 and above, helping them prepare for adulthood and independence.

Key responsibilities include assessing their needs, developing tailored care plans, and coordinating services to support their education, health, and emotional well-being.

You will work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to ensure consistent support and advocate for the young person's best interests.

Regular reviews, safeguarding, and promoting positive outcomes as they move toward leaving care are also essential aspects of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Social Work England registration.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • A Social Work Qualification, degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a social worker within children's services.
