About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Management professional to join our team as the Head of Project Management. This is a key leadership role that will be responsible for the design, setup, and ongoing management of the Alliance Airlines Project Management Office (PMO).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the intended strategic outcomes.
  • Drive process improvements, risk management, and benefits realization across the organization through effective project planning and execution.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to both internal and external project resources, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Coordinate the identification and resolution of risks and issues impacting the successful delivery of programs.
  • Work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to develop and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with project needs and organizational goals.

Requirements
  • Formal qualifications in Project Management Methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK, and significant experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish PMO and Change Management Functions, with experience in risk management, mitigation strategies, and framework development.
  • Strong leadership and emotional intelligence, with the ability to foster organizational culture, engage teams, and align project goals with business objectives.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project, with an in-depth understanding of standardized PMO practices and their application within a large organization.
  • Advanced skills in planning and scheduling complex projects, critical thinking, decision making, and stakeholder engagement at all levels, including executive management.
  • Extensive experience in delivering PMO activities, leading complex programs, and managing multi-disciplinary teams to drive effective project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
