We're seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our Adelaide team in making a positive impact within the community.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess participant needs through assessment and person-centred planning, collaborating with family members and carers.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deliver evidence-based support plans within complex support environments.
  • Create meaningful goals and practical strategies aligned with the positive behaviour support framework, prioritising elimination of restrictive practices in homes and communities.
  • Ensure individual plans reflect participants' passions, strengths, and goals.
  • Bolster the knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants – family, carers, friends, etc.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.
