About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for competent and experienced trades persons to join our Bowen Basin sites. Our operations offer an engaging work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional development.
We're particularly interested in individuals with a strong background working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Liebherr equipment. Experience with Terex O&K/Caterpillar & Hitachi Excavators/Caterpillar Dozers/Sandvik Drills will also be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair fixed plant and mobile equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Identify and report maintenance needs, implementing solutions to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve high-performance safety and productivity goals
- Australian recognized trade certificate
- Previous experience working in fixed plant maintenance, preferably with Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
- A great 'Lifestyle' roster, providing 7 days on, 7 days off and 7 nights on, 7 days off
- Permanent employment with BHP Operations Services, with all the benefits of full-time work
