About the Role:

Central Australian Aboriginal Congress is seeking a skilled Maternal Support Specialist to join their Alukura Womens Health team.

This exciting position will work in partnership with midwives to improve maternal and infant outcomes by providing social, emotional and cultural support to women in pregnancy and until six weeks following birth.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting maternity clients and possess excellent communication skills. They will also be able to foster relationships with clients and provide ongoing support across the continuum of maternity care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with midwives to deliver culturally appropriate maternity services
  • Provide social, emotional and cultural support to pregnant women and new mothers
  • Foster relationships with clients and provide ongoing support

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $74,470 - $82,855 per annum
  • Total Effective Package: $93,879 - $103,356 per annum
  • Full-Time, Continuous Contract
  • Generous leave entitlements, including six weeks' annual leave
  • Opportunities for professional development and growth
