Spiritual Support Coordinator

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of people living in residential aged care. As a Pastoral Care Practitioner, you will be part of an integrated team working within a structured framework to support residents in living their best life.
- Provide spiritual care support to residents according to triage priorities
- Support residents' family members and staff as required
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
While experience is desirable, early career practitioners or those starting their career in pastoral care are encouraged to apply for a supervised role. Training support is available to complete clinical pastoral care certification for those applying as a supervised practitioner.
About You- Tertiary qualification in pastoral care, spiritual direction, counselling or similar
- Clinical Pastoral Education and/or equivalent recent experience in a similar role in aged care, healthcare or community care
- Established skills in preparation, creation, leadership and facilitation of meaningful rituals
- Eligibility for SCA certified membership
