About Chaplaincy Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Chaplain to join our team. The successful candidate will provide spiritual support and care to our residents, clients, staff and volunteers.

Job Description:
The Chaplain will be responsible for providing pastoral and spiritual care in response to identified needs and referrals. This includes promoting holistic, person-centred care by assessing and evaluating residents' spiritual needs to enhance their spiritual fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide appropriate pastoral and spiritual care in response to identified needs and referrals.
  • Promote holistic, person-centred care by assessing and evaluating residents' spiritual needs to enhance their spiritual fulfilment.
  • Coordinate appropriate responses to needs through the direct provision of support or by arranging and facilitating other relevant services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Completion of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) or equivalent – desirable.
  • Experience in a pastoral care role, preferably within an aged care or health setting.
  • Able to exercise an impartial pastoral ministry to aged people, regardless of race, creed or faith, including an awareness of the core tenets of the main Christian denominations and major world religions.
