Job Title: Senior Subcontracts Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Subcontracts Specialist to join our Joint Systems business division.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies and approaches to market for network and communications, IT and defence type goods and services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing sourcing strategies and approaches to market;
  • Planning, drafting, executing and managing contracts types spanning communication and network equipment, IT and defence hardware;
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and driving collaboration to ensure on-time performance and compliance;
  • Participating in risk identification, mitigation planning and progress reporting;
  • Ensuring compliance with supply chain management and program corporate governance policies and procedures.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Eight (8) years' or more work experience in contracts management;
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree in law, commerce or business;
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
  • Good working knowledge of the responsibilities and tasks performed in contracting and their interdependencies with other project activities;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
