Portfolio Planning Director

This role involves leading a team responsible for delivering local portfolio plans, identifying asset investment opportunities, and developing social and affordable housing projects. The Portfolio Planning Director will collaborate with various branches to achieve strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, develop and implement effective strategies, and leverage data to inform decision-making. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Lead the development of Local Area Plans to identify asset investment opportunities and prioritize housing renewal and growth.
  • Collaborate with Branches across Homes Victoria to develop and establish a pipeline of social and affordable housing projects.
  • Develop capital funding bids and business cases as part of the annual budget cycle.

The Director will also be responsible for working closely with the Asset Management branch and the Housing Delivery Branch to achieve social and affordable housing outcomes.

Requirements
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening, including a national police check and misconduct screening.
