**About the role**:
Our high-performing Strategy team is focused on implementing Officeworks' strategy by ensuring that the right strategic programs are set-up for success and on-track to deliver outcomes. The team supports our executive leaders by prioritising opportunities, managing the portfolio of programs, and partnering across the business to plan and lead our biggest strategic and transformational opportunities.

The Strategic Portfolio Analyst plays a role at the heart of establishing, prioritising and managing our large portfolio of complex, cross-functional programs and investments. They work with senior business leaders to ensure that initiatives are set up, approved, and are tracking to deliver outcomes. They develop and present insight for executive decision making, to inform investment and resource prioritisation and to drive successful strategic outcomes.

This role is a great opportunity to transition from a junior strategy, consulting or transformation role to an industry role which combines strategic skills with practical problem solving, program leadership and operating knowledge. It will allow you to develop a deep understanding of how the business works, and will help you learn how to translate strategic ambitions or ideas into action and tangible results within a complex corporate environment. This role is well positioned to enable progression into strategy, program or operational roles in the future.
**Key Activities Include**:

- Work cross-functionally to support prioritisation decisions and investment approval processes
- Assess strategic opportunities presented by the Strategy team, and the broader business
- Manage the sequencing of competing initiatives, understanding delivery constraints to facilitate strategic decision making, options assessment, and recommendations
- Prepare portfolio insights, analysis and reporting for functional, GM or Board decision making
- Manage the tracking of in-flight projects, including maintenance of enterprise portfolio
- Uplifting delivery maturity by improving project management, portfolio management and governance processes across the business

**About you**:
Tertiary qualified, with 3+ years of relevant industry and/or management consulting experience, with a focus on business transformation, strategic programs or portfolio management. Further you will;
- You understand complex cross-functional programs and will enjoy working closely with project sponsors and business leaders to support delivery of project outcomes.
- You are a structured and creative problem solver, who can see the bigger picture. You have outstanding communications, analytical, presentation, and financial skills.
- You are a high performer with a strong ability to summarise and present complex information for a range of audiences, including executives. You possess a high level of competency with MS Suite (PowerPoint, Excel).
- You embrace opportunities to get into the detail and get close to the practical aspects of strategy in stores, online and through-out the business.
