Portfolio Strategy Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Strategy Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in project and program management or portfolio management roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. To contribute to the development of the Technology Strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and guiding effective resource allocation.
  2. To oversee the development and provide recommendations for the Technology Corporate Plan, including identification and prioritization of technology investment to deliver strategically aligned outcomes.
  3. To enable an enterprise approach to quarterly portfolio planning, ensuring that group-wide technology investments and capacity are aligned with strategic priorities.
  4. To create an executable roadmap identifying key outcomes against the strategy, with a clear understanding of how one initiative impacts another (dependencies), and how this impacts sequencing.
About You:

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in project or program management or portfolio management roles, who has worked in an organization undertaking large scale technology transformation.

You should have a strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology and change delivery, as well as proven ability in enterprise prioritization mechanisms and building strategic roadmaps.

A proven track record in enterprise governance mechanisms is also essential, along with PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.

Familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies, and the ability to tailor approaches to fit project needs, is also required.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, are also necessary.
