We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels of the kitchen area and equipment.
- Prepare meals and snacks for patients in accordance with recipe guides.
- Ensure accurate stock levels and maintain regular temperatures in refrigerators and freezers.
- Liaise with management and facility staff to ensure smooth operations.
About This Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate Chef to take on a leadership role in our culinary team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and presentation.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of chefs to deliver exceptional results.
- Develop and implement Food Safety Programs that meet industry standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
- Participate in continuous professional development and education programs.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HACCP regulations and food safety principles.
- Experience in hospital or hotel food service environment preferred.
