Job Description

The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the overall management of maintenance activities, ensuring plant and equipment are maintained to a safe and operational standard.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Be an ambassador for safety. Lead safety initiatives and drive a safe working environment.

    • Comply with relevant state OHS/WHS legislation.

    • Participate in audits and inspections to maintain compliance with Safety, GMP and HACCP.

    • Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to employees and contractors, and ensure use of appropriate PPE.

    • Control the risk of high-risk activities and work.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections and repairs.

  • Ensure spare parts inventory is managed effectively through the completion of requisition of supplies and spare parts, and stocktaking activities.

  • Advance existing preventative maintenance program in Guardian (CMMS) to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

Requirements

    • Degree or trade qualification (electrical/engineering/mechanical or combination relevant to role).

    • Aptitude to maintain complex process equipment involving process automation.

    • Substantial experience working with and supervising a maintenance team in an industrial (process) environment.

    • Strong people management and leadership skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement of skill development and work performance.

    • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

    • High mechanical aptitude.

    • Good understanding of enterprise agreements.

    • Solid computing skills, proficient in Microsoft Office.
