Support Worker Job

Humdrum:

A nationally registered NDIS provider aims to combat boredom and isolation for the community. We build digital infrastructure to muster, train, and deploy support workers and therapists to assist in eclectic lives.

We offer:

  • $60k-65k per year salary plus superannuation.
  • Full-time role with 4 weeks of annual leave.

You should have:

  • Honours or Masters in Community Service related studies.
  • Cert IV in Community Services.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Charismatic communication skills.
  • Quick learning abilities with multitasking, initiative, and openness to change.
  • Confident computer skills with Excel, Photoshop, and Google knowledge.
  • Good social media and content creation skills.
  • Ability to step outside comfort zones and take on new challenges.

The role involves:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with community stakeholders.
  • Assessing clients' requirements and creating tailored support programs.
  • Consulting clients to understand areas of concern and required support.
  • Overseeing client progress and reporting to management and third parties.
  • Assisting NDIS participants in connecting with internal and external services.
  • Coordinating and delivering support work.
  • Assisting in therapy coordination and delivery.
  • Delivering therapy and community-based activities using evidence-based approaches.
  • Researching and presenting emerging evidence-based approaches.
  • Business development and assisting management in day-to-day tasks.

Schedule: 8 hour shift.
Relocation: Beaconsfield, WA 6162.
Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred).
