Key Responsibilities- Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Visy's safety systems and act as a safety champion, leading risk management and implementing safe work practices.
- Operational Leadership: Drive the day-to-day operations to meet production goals, maximize equipment uptime, and optimize resource use.
- Customer Focus & Quality: Lead a quality-focused culture ensuring all products meet customer expectations and address any quality concerns proactively.
- Financial Management: Manage the plant's budget, including forecasting and capital project oversight to achieve cost efficiency and operational targets.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, promoting continuous learning, succession planning, and operational leadership.
- Proven leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing, with expertise in production systems, operational efficiency, and quality management.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience in managing budgets, production forecasting, and capital projects.
- Demonstrated commitment to driving safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with OHS&E standards.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Materials Science, Business, or Finance (MBA or advanced qualifications preferred).
- Experience with lean manufacturing and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
