About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Hobart, Launceston, or Devonport TAS. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting Australians in achieving their goals and living a better life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve participant matters by actioning planning tasks as per the Agency Act.
  • Provide counter/reception support for the local office, including participant enquiries and online support.
  • Resolve customer enquiries, provide information, and refer customers to appropriate government or community services.
  • Manage the team shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone enquiries.
  • Coordinate appointments using Agency office facilities and ensure facilities are accessible for participants.
  • Undertake research and investigation activities, preparing associated reports and correspondence.
  • Undertake data entry activities and ensure follow-up is completed.
  • Receive and record complaints and other feedback in the Agency Business systems.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a team. You will also have the ability to manage conflict and difficult/sensitive conversations, as well as Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
