Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting and Planning: Manage the financial reporting process, including monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Financial Analysis and Insights: Provide sound financial support and insights to enable the CEO and ELT to make informed business decisions.
- Business Strategy and Planning: Play a key role in the formulation of our business strategy and contribute to the development of our financial plans.
- Taxation and Treasury: Manage and oversee our taxation affairs, including liaising with external tax firms for specialist advice, and ensure the organization has effective treasury controls in place.
- Cash Flow and Risk Management: Manage and oversee our cash flow, ensuring we have sufficient liquidity to meet our financial obligations, and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial risks.
- External Auditor and Compliance: Manage the relationship with our external auditor and ensure the organization is compliant with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Financial Systems and Processes: Manage and oversee our financial systems and processes, including our banking and borrowing arrangements, to ensure they are efficient and effective.
- Investment Appraisal and Analysis: Conduct investment appraisals and analysis to ensure we are making informed investment decisions.
- Financial Leadership and Management: Oversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions, and provide leadership and guidance to our finance team.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, with a proven track record of success.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Accounting, and professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA.
- Skills: Sound decision-making skills, results-oriented, exceptional time management and problem-solving skills, exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, and advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software.
