Job Description:
The NSW Ombudsman's Office is seeking a skilled Procurement Business Partner to lead and facilitate the end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring value for money, transparency, and accountability across all procurement and contract activities.
About the Role:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the principles of value for money, transparency, and accountability are maintained throughout all procurement and contract activities. The Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for leading and facilitating the end-to-end procurement processes in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the NSW Ombudsman's contractual outcomes, supplier relationships, and risk management.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in business, contract management, risk, or legal, or 5+ years' experience in a similar role. They will have knowledge, experience, and understanding of NSW Government Procurement processes, as well as demonstrated experience in leading the development and management of contracts and procurement practices across a range of engagements, ensuring probity processes compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and facilitating end-to-end procurement processes
- Ensuring value for money, transparency, and accountability across all procurement and contract activities
- Managing risk and effectively managing the end-to-end procure-to-pay process in a government or complex organization
- Developing and implementing strategies to align with changing business requirements
- Partnering with staff from across the organization to provide high-level advice and guidance on procurement best practices

Salary Range:
$116,211 - $128,061 per annum, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
