Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator

We are seeking a person who puts compassion, connection and caring for others at the heart of their work.

This role is part of an experienced team that creates a welcoming environment for residents of St Vincent's Care Kangaroo Point.

The facility offers progressive care in a stimulating environment where staff ensure residents feel welcome, valued and safe.

St Vincent's Care Kangaroo Point is co-located with St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane near the iconic Story Bridge and overlooks the Brisbane River and city skyline.

You will design and evaluate health and wellbeing activities and programs based on health assessment.

You will work closely with the team to develop Leisure & Lifestyle programs including working with dementia clients.

A Certificate III or Diploma in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy is essential for this role.

Other relevant qualifications may also be acceptable.

  • Design and deliver engaging leisure and lifestyle programs for residents.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, their families and caregivers.

  • Assist in planning, coordinating and evaluating activities and events that promote social interaction, independence and overall resident satisfaction.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment that fosters open communication and promotes teamwork.

  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, activities and program evaluations.

  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs.
