Building Inspector Job

We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct building inspections and prepare comprehensive reports in the Newcastle and Hunter regions.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work as a part-time contract Building Inspector, providing high-quality services to clients. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV registered builder's licence with 10+ years of experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills and the ability to operate a tablet reporting system
  • A sound understanding of presentation and approachability
  • Availability for a minimum of 1-2 days per week

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and previous experience in the construction industry. You will also require a current Australian driver's licence and a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).

Our organisation provides ongoing support and training for our inspectors, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.
