The Regional Refurbishment Administration Specialist role is a key position in our National Refurbishment Division.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed scopes of work, overseeing projects through to handover inspections, and ensuring each refurbishment meets quality expectations.

This involves reviewing and assessing contractor quotes using internal systems, driving improvements to the unit turnover process, and managing spend and cash margins effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and delivery of multiple unit refurbishment projects.
  • Manage refurbishment budgets and reporting in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Build relationships with residents, contractors, consultants, approval authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide scope and defect training and support to staff members.
  • Oversee contract preparation, compliance, and performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to refurbishment capex planning for sustainable outcomes.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by embedding ESG and HSE principles into projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement in refurbishment systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in project management, building, property, or insurance assessment.
  • Proven success managing refurbishments, renovations, or new-build projects.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets.
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, property, construction, or a related field (desirable).
