**Role Overview**
We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Family Led Decision Making Case Manager.
This position plays a vital part in delivering an effective and culturally strong family led decision making service.
The case manager will provide independent support to families when youth justice concerns arise for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander children or young people.
The goal is to reduce reoffending by empowering families and young people to take ownership and motivation to change.
This is achieved by building personal ownership and motivation to help children remain safe in the family through supporting and facilitating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island family led decision making.
**Key Responsibilities**
The case manager will work closely with local Youth Justice Service Centres, Non-government stakeholders and regional networks to lead collective effort around emerging community trends and early intervention supports.
The Specialist will also lead and facilitate the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island family led decision making process.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a minimum Certificate IV qualification or higher in Social Work/Human Services or relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to meet client performance targets and record accurate and consistent case notes is essential.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal direction and effectively communicate with and work collaboratively as part of a team.
A willingness to travel across different sites within the region is also required.
