This role plays a critical part in ensuring the effective implementation and execution of health and safety policy and strategy across operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Driving continuous improvement in health and safety across the organization and developing a strong culture;
  • Ensuring all activities are compliant with regulations and aligned with group strategy;
  • Reviewing and implementing policies, systems, processes, and reporting;
  • Critical risk management framework;
  • Coaching and mentoring employees to champion health and safety and develop competence and capability;

The right candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in health and safety or similar;
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience leading health and safety in large complex organizations;
  • Experience working in high-risk environments;
  • Deep understanding of health and safety and environmental regulations;
  • Previous experience with auditing and compliance systems, including ISO standards;
  • An inspiring leader who can coach and motivate;
