Overview

Permanent, full-time role with world-class facilities at St Leonards. Located in St Leonards Square and spread across 1,158 sqm, the club offers spaces for Boxing, Reformer Pilates, Yoga and Grid Training (HIIT), plus premium changing rooms and lounges. We are part of the Virgin group and operate a growing Australian network.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the Club General Manager and lead the operations & safety team in the St Leonards club, delivering unforgettable customer experiences in a safe environment where members love spending time.
  • Provide heartfelt service and exceptional operational management in line with our customer experience strategy and brand standards.
  • Lead, coach and motivate the operations teams to deliver a seamless experience and a world-class customer experience — from rapid maintenance issue resolution and the efficiency of class scheduling to the relaxed lounge area post-workout.
  • Provide training on customer touch points in the club and oversee the leaver experience.
  • Oversee relevant admin including processing cancellations, reconciliations and banking.
  • Ensure all areas and equipment are safe and clean, and that the club's appearance reflects the highest standard across studios, change rooms and common areas.
  • Be empowered to find ways to give our members that little bit extra, especially when it's unexpected.
All about you
  • 2+ years of relevant operations leadership experience and your first aid certs.
  • Warm, honest and genuine with operations leadership experience and a neat-freak reputation.
  • You love to create a seamless experience for people as much as you love to guarantee a super safe and sparkling clean environment.
  • You're comfortable communicating at all levels and you're authentic when you express yourself.
  • You have a can-do approach. Whatever a member needs, you help them find it.
  • You have the flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule (clubs open from 5am–10pm) and may also have hospitality sector experience.
