Advanced Cybersecurity Specialist for Cloud Infrastructure

At Oracle, we're seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team of experts in cloud infrastructure security. With a strong background in software security and experience in designing and evaluating complex systems, you'll be responsible for planning and delivering in-depth security assessments across various products and services.

This role requires a deep understanding of security concepts, including threat modeling, vulnerability research, and exploit development. You'll work closely with engineering teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our cloud-based systems.

We're offering a competitive salary of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and evaluate complex systems for security, identifying potential vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate them
  • Perform in-depth security assessments using static and dynamic analysis tools, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement secure coding practices and protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, applying your knowledge to inform security strategies and best practices
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of industry experience in IT security, with 7+ years in software/product security assessments, penetration testing, or red teaming
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (Electrical Engineering)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
