A challenging role has arisen for an experienced Mine Planning Engineer to join our team in Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining practical mine plans that enable safe, efficient, and value-driven operations.

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Mine Planning Engineer to contribute to our Golden Grove operation.

This site-based role reports to the Senior Mine Planning Engineer and operates on an 8:6 roster, with the option to work part of each swing from our Perth office.

Your Primary Responsibilities
  • Developing and optimising short- and medium-term mine designs, including stope and development plans.
  • Completing detailed design work and documentation, including financial evaluations and control processes.
  • Championing practical, value-driven design strategies aligned with operational priorities.
  • Collaborating across teams to manage design workflows, track progress, and ensure the timely delivery of planning outputs.
  • Working with operational teams in the field to problem-solve, execute plans, and deliver on production commitments.
  • Demonstrating safety leadership and promoting a strong HSEC culture through compliance and engagement.
About You

We are seeking an experienced Mining Engineer with operational experience and exposure to mechanised underground mines.

You will have a tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline and proficiency in mine planning software.
