Open Pit Mining Planning Specialist

We seek an experienced professional to lead medium and short term mine planning systems and processes, ensuring the business meets its contractual production targets effectively.
About the JobThis role is critical in supporting the company's goals and involves providing accurate and timely plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving overall project performance.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
- At least 3 years' experience in a technical discipline at an open pit mining environment
- Solid understanding of mine operations, drill & blast, planning and scheduling
- Familiarity with open cut mining methods
- Strong experience with mining software (Vulcan, Alastri, Spry) and Microsoft office suite
- Able to demonstrate effective performance in achieving agreed HSE goals
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and shifting priorities
