Public Sector People are currently seeking a skilled Recruitment Program Manager to join a Local Government on a short-term, temporary basis. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to implement effective talent acquisition programs and support the Council with design, development, and delivery.

As a Recruitment Program Manager, you will be responsible for implementing attraction, marketing, advertising, recruitment, and selection processes while ensuring compliance with relevant legislative, Award, and policy guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement end-to-end recruitment strategies to meet business needs
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to ensure quality of hire and time-to-hire
  • Administer e-recruitment functionality to streamline hiring processes and improve candidate experience
  • Provide training and support to hiring teams on best practices in recruitment and e-recruitment
  • Shortlist, make recommendations, and select candidates for various roles
  • Offer expert advice to Managers on recruitment processes, awards, and agency hires

For this role, we require:

  • Proven experience in high-volume cross-functional resourcing teams
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR policies and practices to link Talent Acquisition with other practice areas
  • At least 3 years' experience in end-to-end recruitment, including drafting job advertisements and interviewing
