Care Worker for People with Intellectual Disabilities

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our supportive team in Sydney, where they will assist clients with intellectual disabilities to live fulfilling lives.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for delivering active support aligned with each client's goals and support plans, assisting with daily personal care tasks such as toileting, showering, and dressing. You will also use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans to promote their independence and joy in daily life.
- Deliver high-quality support services that meet the needs of clients with intellectual disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks to enable clients to maintain their dignity and independence
- Use safe manual handling techniques to prevent injury to clients and yourself
We are looking for energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient individuals who are willing to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. You must hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and be confident driving vehicles.
- Experience in disability support an advantage
- Qualifications in disability support or related field desirable
